Co-Founder, Board Chair & CEO | 2006–2026

Co-founded and built a $50M technology business spanning 15 product lines across SaaS, PaaS, consumer applications, IoT and enterprise platforms, with 11 teams and 200+ people across six global regions. Led strategy, product vision, technology, customer experience and commercialization.

Negotiated and managed strategic partnerships with Airtel, Vodafone, Dialog Axiata, Idea Cellular and MTNL.

Co-invented and launched the world's first fully automated multilingual, multimodal emergency alerts telco platform and LBS middleware, designed to operate even on basic phones without Internet, GPS or prepaid balance. Scaled to 10M+ users, processing millions of transactions daily with 99.98% uptime and consumer NPS of 9+ every quarter over its 14-year operating life. Recognized for its role in major national disasters and honored by GSMA at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona.

Negotiated strategic IoT manufacturing partnerships in Shenzhen, China, that reduced production costs by $2M and increased revenue by 5%. Designed and delivered an Ebola Diagnosis and Tracking mobile application for the United Nations and WHO, working directly with UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy Dr. David Nabarro.

Directed 400,000+ person-hours of proprietary technology and software R&D and thousands of hours of stress testing and live field trials across Alcatel, Ericsson, Huawei, Lucent, Nokia, Nortel and Siemens telecom platforms.

TBM Global Infra Ventures, Sri Lanka

Managing Partner, Technology Park Project | 2005–2006

Led an initiative to develop Sri Lanka's first technology park, a US$100M investment focused on IT services, outsourcing, life sciences and clinical research.

Engaged directly with President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Rohitha Bogollagama, Dinesh Gunawardena and other senior government officials, and collaborated with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka on development of the 100-acre, two-phase project.

Designed a multi-company, plug-and-play technology ecosystem integrating business, recreational and support infrastructure, projected to create 10,000 technology-related jobs within five years.

Executive Program Instructor | 2006

Created and taught How to Install a Marketing Machine in Your Business, an executive program at The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism Commission and Rutgers Business School. Developed the program concept, curriculum, course materials and lectures.

Co-Founder & Managing Partner | 2002–2011

Co-founded a San Jose-based management consulting company focused on business and technology strategy and interim management. Acquired full ownership in 2004, relocated the company to Princeton, New Jersey, and renamed it Trinity Business Management Co LLC.

IGpartner.Net Corp., United States & Global

Co-Founder, CEO & Board Member | 2000–2003

Created a globalization platform enabling U.S.-based B2B software and technology companies to go "instantly global" through local warehousing, distribution, marketing, sales and support infrastructure across 27 major international markets, without establishing their own in-country operations.

Established 12 international offices by January 2001 and subsequently built local capabilities across the remaining 15 countries. Created an integrated worldwide information system enabling IGpartner, its customers and partners to continuously share business intelligence and make better-informed decisions.

SPSS Inc. | Worldwide

International & Worldwide Leadership | 1990–2000

1990 – 1994: Led SPSS's expansion into South Asia as Managing Director, SPSS India and General Manager, South Asian Operations. Introduced student-market pricing, one-time-fee models, channel development and hardware bundling, helping establish SPSS as the dominant analytics software across academic, research, government and corporate markets, with a reported 95% share of India's mathematical software market.

Developed strategic relationships with TCS, Wipro, Datapro, ALIT, DEC, Fujitsu ICIM, SGI and IBM, including the first-ever global bundling of SPSS software by IBM, 18 years before IBM acquired SPSS.

1994 – 1997: Served as International Director, SPSS Inc. and CEO of The Alternative Statistics Company, a wholly owned SPSS subsidiary, with teams in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Germany. Established business partnerships and franchise operations across 40+ countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Represented SPSS through press, seminars and industry forums. In the 1996 Dataquest DQ Top 20 edition, authored Turbulent Times Ahead, challenging the prevailing wage-arbitrage model, predicting rising costs and employee attrition, and anticipating the evolution of Indian software companies into global enterprises.

1998 – 2000: Held worldwide leadership responsibilities from Chicago and New York while personally managing key global accounts including P&G and the NFO Worldwide companies.

MARRS, New Delhi, India

Co-Founder & President | 1984–1990

Co-founded one of India's earliest software-product development and marketing companies. Launched Nightingale Trio, India's first low-cost software product, and created India's first software superstore for international software, building a catalog of 3,000+ products and serving 15,000+ customers across government, academia, research, technology and industry.

Following the Bhopal gas tragedy, designed and developed India's first expert system for disaster simulation and management in 1986–87 and deployed it across three high-hazard chemical plants, pioneering the application of AI and expert-system technology to industrial safety in India.

Worked as an industry expert and advisor with the Delhi Productivity Council, Australian Trade Commission, All India Manufacturers' Organization and Small Industries Service Institute, Ministry of Industry, Government of India, on technology commercialization, market development, industrial safety, market entry and executive training.

Frequently featured in the press on India's emerging software industry. In a 1988 Times of India Independence Day article, Computers and Human Safety, predicted India's emergence as a world leader in software and examined the potential of expert systems and artificial intelligence to improve industrial safety and protect human life.

Co-founded a consumer audio electronics manufacturing and marketing venture in Chennai and New Delhi, developing technical relationships with NAD Electronics, Pioneer and Kenwood. Previously held territory management responsibility with a major FMCG company, managing $10M+ in revenue across operations, distribution, marketing, sales and customer support and coordinating three new product launches.
